DESCRIPTION OF CORRUPTION OF AMERICAN DREAM IN Th. DREISER'S FINANCIER

The scientific research is devoted to the comprehensive study of the concept of the American Dream, its essence, origin, and influence on history. Moreover, I reveal the main concept of this term and the description of its corruption under certain circumstances in Th. Dreiser’s “Financier”. However, it should be emphasized that this topic regarding the American Dream became the popular discourse among famous American writers of the early 20th century. Most American writers who witnessed the historical events of America at the beginning of the 20th century described the socio-economical life of that period in detail, which became the main topic of discussion.
