Impact of teacher-learner relationships on learners’ academic success

Teacher-learner relationships play a vital role in the trajectory of leaners’ academic success and in social development. Learners develop positive self-esteem, strive to excel, show acceptable manners and communication skills through the relationships they have with their teachers. Teachers who foster positive relationships with their learners create classroom environment to be more conducive to learning.
