How European are the Europeans?

This theoretical paper will be examining, if The EU Nordic citizens belong more to the Nordic identity than to the pan-European identity, which is what the EU is trying to create. The question that is sought to answer is: “Do the Nordic citizens of the EU have more commitment to their regional identity than to the European identity? Moreover, are these countries equally committed to their Nordic regional identity?"
