This narrative has been inspired by the experience of the brutal killing of George Floyd, 46; he died after being arrested by police outside a shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The murderous arrest on 25 May 2020 shows a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck for over eight [8] minutes and 46 seconds, while he was pinned to the floor. This enraged the World igniting protest movement of "Black Lives Matter". I watch these scenes unfold and really got me thinking to examine my own views about racism. This product represents those reflections in my dialogue mostly with my daughter, Helena [Mama] Mbilima. Her casual inquisitiveness kept me late at night to thoroughly reflect on her insight. Hence, this is dedicated to George Floyd, his daughter, and indeed all daughters of colour across the World. Your and others' lives matter.
